In a time of continuous restructuring of the global trade landscape, where supply chain resilience has become a core competitive advantage, Shen Hong has leveraged her cross-regional operational experience and precise market insight to lead Blue Dolphin Development Pte. Ltd. in Singapore into a key force in building materials trade from Southeast Asia to North America. Since assuming the role of General Manager in August 2023, she has driven the company to become an important supplier in the mainstream U.S. building materials market through systematic business strategies, global resource integration capabilities, and strong execution.
From Domestic Markets to Global Operations: Deep Professional Accumulation Across the Industrial Chain
Shen Hong’s career is deeply rooted in the real economy, combining both domestic operational experience and cross-border management expertise. In her early career, she worked at Shandong Linyi Huasheng Yongbin Wood Industry Co., Ltd., where she was responsible for sales management and overall business operations. She was extensively involved in key functions including procurement, production scheduling, and customer development, building a comprehensive understanding of the full value chain of the panel and building materials industry.
With the shift of manufacturing capacity to Southeast Asia, she joined BINH MINH VIETNAM CO., LTD, a large-scale manufacturing enterprise in Vietnam, where she led production planning, quality control, export coordination, and cross-border logistics management. The factory, employing over 2,000 staff, specializes in the production of PRIMED BOARDS and serves as an important manufacturing base for building materials in Southeast Asia. During this period, Shen Hong established an efficient operational bridge between Vietnam’s manufacturing base and international clients, laying a solid foundation for her subsequent global trade expansion.
In 2021, she established Friend Magnet Limited in Hong Kong, building a regional trade platform. In August 2023, she officially assumed the role of General Manager of Blue Dolphin Development Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. As Singapore serves as a global hub for trade and finance, it has become her strategic base for international settlement, business operations, and market expansion, marking a new stage in her leadership of the company’s global development.
Driving Breakthrough Through Strategic Planning: Precisely Aligning with U.S. Market Supply and Demand
After assuming her role, Shen Hong developed and implemented a three-pillar business strategy—“Resource Integration, Channel Expansion, and Cost Optimization”—based on industry trends and structural market pain points. This strategy precisely addresses the structural imbalance in the U.S. building materials market, where domestic lumber inventories remain high and prices are under pressure, while high-end customized panels rely heavily on imports. At the same time, Vietnam offers significant cost advantages in manufacturing capacity, effectively filling the supply gap.
In terms of resource integration, she established a closed-loop supply chain of “China procurement – Vietnam manufacturing – Singapore trading”, achieving optimal alignment of production capacity, cost structure, and market demand. This model effectively diversifies single-market risks and strengthens the company’s resilience against market volatility.
In channel expansion, she led the team to successfully integrate into the supply chains of two major U.S. publicly listed companies. As a key decision-maker, she directly oversees pricing strategy, delivery timelines, quality standards, and supply chain coordination, ensuring seamless delivery of products from Vietnamese factories to U.S. end customers. In October 2025, within just two purchase orders, over 8,000 units of products were delivered to a well-known U.S. distributor of building and industrial materials. The stability of cooperation and fulfillment capability were highly recognized by the U.S. partners.
In cost control, she optimized cross-border logistics routes by adopting a direct shipping model from Ho Chi Minh City to Savannah, reducing transit links and lowering transportation costs. Through scaled procurement, standardized production, and centralized settlement, she further reduced overall costs, ensuring strong international price competitiveness. Even during the COVID-19 disruption period, she successfully led the company to expand operations against market pressure, demonstrating strong strategic resilience and operational stability.
Driving Corporate Growth and Shaping an Industry Benchmark
As General Manager of Blue Dolphin, Shen Hong has driven efficient corporate operations through a clearly defined management philosophy. She has built an international team composed of professionals from China, Vietnam, and Singapore, and implemented refined management systems with clearly defined responsibilities and performance-oriented mechanisms, enabling the company to remain efficient, flexible, and stable in global competition.
Meanwhile, the Southeast Asia–North America building materials trade model she leads has become a reference framework for the industry, providing a replicable approach for cross-border supply chain integration, market expansion, and cost optimization. This has contributed to the upgrading of the industry toward a more efficient and stable global collaboration model.
Looking Ahead: Continued Expansion of the Global Market Footprint
Looking forward, Shen Hong stated that she will continue to deepen her engagement in the international building materials supply chain, strengthen cooperation in the North American market, and steadily expand into Europe and emerging markets. She is committed to developing Blue Dolphin into a globally leading cross-border building materials supply chain service provider and continuously contributing to global trade stability and high-quality industry development.
From a domestic industrial manager to a global supply chain leader, Shen Hong advances steadily in the wave of global trade with professionalism, vision, and execution capability, becoming one of the representative leading figures in the field of cross-border trade in the new era.
