FuzeHub and NORDTECH Announce Winners of NYS Microelectronics Innovation Challenge

FuzeHub, in partnership with the Northeast Regional Defense Technology Hub (NORDTECH), has revealed the winners of the New York State Microelectronics Innovation Challenge. This exciting initiative awards $180,000 in grants to three innovative projects across the Mid-Hudson, New York City, Finger Lakes, and Southern Tier Regions.

The challenge focuses on advancing microelectronics capabilities in New York State, with a particular emphasis on enhancing national defense. The selected projects demonstrate the state’s commitment to fostering innovation in this critical sector.

NYSTAR executive director Ben Verschueren highlighted the significance of these awards:

“We are proud to support these projects that will not only bolster New York’s position in the global microelectronics supply chain but also contribute to the nation’s security and defense capabilities. The winning projects exemplify the potential of New York’s innovation ecosystem and its role in shaping the future of microelectronics manufacturing.”
